Tại sự kiện PAX East 2013 diễn ra tại Boston, Capcom đã bất ngờ tuyên bố sẽ remake lại Duck Tales dưới cái tên Duck Tales Remastered, và nếu không phải là một gamer 8x hay 9x đời đầu có thể bạn sẽ không biết đến cái tên này vì cả phiên bản Duck Tales 1 và 2 đều được phát hành rât sớm lần lượt vào năm 1989 và 1993 trên hệ NES.

Kể câu chuyện về ông bác keo kiệt Scrooge của vịt Donald trên hành trình làm giàu thêm của cải bằng việc săn tìm kho báu, Duck Tales đã khiến nhiều người phải say mê bằng gameplay platform mẫu mực đối với một trò chơi trên NES: nhanh tay nhanh mắt hoặc là chết. Các màn chơi được thiết kế với nhiều ngõ ngách và kho báu bí mật đúng "chất" Capcom - yếu tố quen thuộc trong series Mega Man và cuối cùng là âm nhạc tuyệt vời của Duck Tales đã lý giải tại sao đoạn trailer của Duck Tales Remastered đã có gần 400.000 lượt xem chỉ sau 1 ngày công bố.

Capcom cho biết trò chơi sẽ được làm lại hoàn toàn trên nền đồ họa hoàn toàn mới, nhưng tất nhiên cái nhiều người quan tâm hơn cả là gameplay và âm nhạc của trò chơi liệu có sánh được với người tiền nhiệm kinh điển năm xưa hay không. Sau đây là đoạn trailer của Duck Tales Remastered thực hiện với phong cách âm nhạc Disney.

Hiện tại theo thông tin trong trailer, Duck Tales Remastered sẽ được phát hành cho Xbox Live, Playstation Network và WiiU trong mùa hè năm nay
